Commercial and domestic intruder alarm system
A typical Intruder Alarm System installed into either domestic or commercial premises would comprise several Detection Devices connected to a Control Panel. Sounders positioned in the Hallway and externally on the front elevation of the building would provide Audible Signalling. In addition the alarm system may use a communications device known as a digital communicator to transmit signals to an Alarm Monitoring Station to provide a means of alarm monitoring. The Alarm Monitoring Station then notifies the police and key holders of an alarm activation at the premises.
Setting and un-setting of a modern intruder alarm system is most commonly achieved using a Remote Keypad positioned within the Hallway or some other suitable area. Professionally installed, all cabling on your alarm system would be concealed wherever possible by routing it beneath the floorboards. In this way your home security system will cause the minimum of disruption to your existing decor and be better protected against either accidental or deliberate damage.
What will it cost?
It’s a simple enough question, but unfortunately not an easy one to answer. Unlike many of our competitors we’ve decided not to plaster our web pages with the lowest possible system prices or unrealistic offers. Why? Because every home or business is different. The cost of a system will depend upon the results of a site security risk assessment. The most important thing about a security system is that it provides protection to the items most at risk.
As such, we have included a simple cost calculator for you to build a basic quotation to which you can add additional items. Remember, the final price is fully inclusive of installation, 12 months guarantee and first year’s maintenance contract. You will own the system outright, so there are no on-going rental charges to worry about.
Once you have finished, print the estimate out and then give us a call on 08000 645 999 to arrange a site survey and final quote. This will give you the opportunity to ask any remaining questions and ensure that the system meets your security requirements. We will then send you a full written system design proposal.
